Engaging, fun and excellent bang for the buck!

Went to the local dealer to downsize from a SEAT Leon 1.9TD to a VW Polo. They had moved showrooms around! I explained that financials meant a downsizing was required even though I loved my Leon. Would you believe it, 3 hours of what he thought was haggling and I knew as 'having a budget' I had bought a new petrol 1.2 TSI Leon!

If I had had the extra £30 per month, I would have bought the 1.4 version for the extra power and consumption but I stuck to my budget. This being said, it is nippy and has a decent top cruising speed of 80 mph that is no strain on the engine at all. Big improvements I have noticed from previous models are:
a. Better sound system
b. Better forward pillar visibility
c. Better interior
I know it is not a BMW 1, Mercedes A or Audi 3, but at least I can get golf clubs and decent loads in the back (sorry Beemer owners) and I am paying about half the monthly cost for a decent lump of metal.

Literature claims 57 mph, I am getting about 47mph on average.

Can't even remembert the road tax it is so cheap - £20-30?
