Lovely car but unreliable. Dont buy SEAT if you live in Worthing.

I love this car for its looks space practicality economy and it's fun to drive. I bought it from a dealers in Maidstone where it had been a demo car. For nearly a year except for some computer oddities like the time changing by itself it was fine. Then in October last year the gloplug light started flashing after starting, then I kept losing the engine generally moving slowly. The car went into the nearest dealers in an industrial estate on the outskirts of Brighton 3 times before they found a dirty fuel filter. In early 2019
Two months later the light started flashing again and they said the ECU needed updating. Then in October the same thing happened and this time the battery ran flat for no reason. A passing mechanic got me started and said it was charging fine and couldnt understand it. The car went in again and I waited over 4 hours to be told they need to keep it and SEAT would get me a courtesy car. Next day I was told battery coding had been wrong. Two days later and the light is flashing again but the garage haven't got an expert for 2 weeks.
On top of this SEAT have said they wont provide a courtesy car so how I meant to get home and to work?

If you live in Worthing dont buy a SEAT!
