First automatic

As an aside the car is motability not bought.

Due to rapidly worsening arthritis we have had to go to a suv type for easy access the previous leons now difficult and we went from diesel to petrol and manual to auto.
It is comfortable, well equipped and easy to drive handles well and reasonably economic. It does however have a few personal niggles the heating controls seem an afterthought under the display, the stop/start system works far to fast cutting out at roundabouts and when parking unless it is switched off. A slight delay when setting off can result in wheelspin until you learn to expect this, in normal use the gearbox is faultless. Our car is mainly used in the economy mode and cannot understand why this setting cannot be default. It has lots of "toys" we never use, voice control, phone connectivity and door lights although other drivers will, would have liked reversing camera as standard.
Previous Seats have all been very reliable requiring only servicing and minor parts and hopefully this will be also. As we do not pay for servicing etc cannot comment on these costs.
