do not buy Seat; after sales is disastrous

I purchased a used auto 2.0 tdi 2004 Alhambra in June 2012. It developed a dangerous engine revving problem in January 2013 which resulted in it not being driveable. A part has been ordered from Seat in Spain but eight weeks later and counting the car remains at the garage and there is no sign of the part. The garage (a Seat dealer) is not even able to tell me where the part is or give any indication as to when it might be delivered. The dealer did not even bother to look elsewhere. Needless to say, Seat "customer care" is not interested. This is no doubt a general problem with Seat after sales and I recommend that nobody purchases a Seat unless you want to fashion parts yourself.
