Your best friend.

If you're tired of the way cars are moving more and more towards the luxury/comfort/gadget-laden/flim flam/eco-friendly/mpg conscious/euro blob r****** then this is the vehicle for you. It has stuck to its roots like no other manufacturer has. Land Rover has tried its best with the Defender but I'm afraid it has succumbed. Toyota's Land Cruiser has followed the same path - all a bit soft and comfy. We must salute Mitsubishi for sticking it out until 2019 with its woke free, honest john workhorse. Buy a second hand one and it will be a friend for life.
