Overall reliability

Reliable isnt a strong enough word to describe how reliable it has been.

I have owned this car for most of its life; it is comfortable to drive, even for a monster giant like me, handles well, and is versatile enough to do everything I have asked of it.

After 8 years it developed its first fault, the "L" fell off on the word "Classic" on the drivers door; other than that, not even a light bulb has gone wrong.

I must admit I was worried about the seat material when I first bought it; I thought it wouldnt last, but it looks as good today as the day I first sat in it.

The only two downsides to ownership are the dealers, both the local(ish) dealers have tried it on; and economy; 28-30mpg is my average, and 36mpg a rare beast that has only appeared on a few gentle cross-country runs.

It is a great long distance cruiser; 900 miles to the Alps was a breeze, even loaded with family and ski gear; and when we reached our overnight stop, I wanted to to just keep going.
