Reliable workhorse

It's not the best 5 door hatchback, but it fitted my budget at the time. The cabin is spacious and the car comes with all the expected features including cruise control which I use a lot. Over the 6 + years I have used it I have had no major problems just the usual wear and tear items, brake pads, exhaust. The only issue I have had was with the gear stick becoming very stiff to move - solved by greasing the linkage. It's not speedy but cruises well on the motorway with reasonable economy. I have maintained the car myself for plugs and oil changes and have adopted the American approach to oil changes , changing every 3/4k, I feel this has made a great difference to the way the car runs and performs. The Americans often run their cars 150/200k made possible by frequent oil changes. To sum up a great little car.
