Good car but bodywork repairs are problematic!!

I reviewed this car just after I bought it and rated the overall car as a good value for money, that still holds true BUT don't expect any bodywork repairs to be done swiftly.
My car was severely damaged in a car park while unattended in April 2022, both nearside doors were affected with major replacement required. My insurance company at the time was the AA and they arranged for a company in Fife close to where I stayed at the time to expedite the repairs.
The first delay was ordering the parts which arrived at the start of June 2022 but by the end of July 2022 the car was still not repaired and I moved house back to Glasgow. The car remained in Fife with no firm date for repair completion. No updates from the repair company and each time I called them I was given the run-around.
It is now the end of August 2022 and having contacted both the AA and the repairers twice in the last week I have had no attempts from the repairers in question to contact me or any further feedback from the AA.
The AA stated last week that they have had several completion dates from the repair shop and each one has passed without explanation.
If the parts are so difficult to get and the cars so difficult to repair then the wider public needs to be aware that MG Motor UK have a serious problem with their vehicle range.
