superb motor lovely drive

I bought the car in 2006, I started to get problems with the stuttering it went in the work shop @Manchester Mercedes around 6 times in a year trying to rectify the problem, then in April of this year it got worse & started slipping out of gear & also not responding when I put my foot down, it went in again to MB, they put parts in the gear box & torque at a cost of £6000.00, I put 10% to as agesture of good will, I have had the car back for a couple of days and it has started to stutter again, can anybody give me advice on the matter,l and am I also still coverd by warranty as this matter was brought to there attention when the car was still in warranty
