Overall reliability

A beautifully put together and finished motor car, which is a joy to drive and to own.

The combination of Selenite Grey with pale grey roof lining and black leather suits this car well, giving off an airy feel when travelling. The car looks smart from all angles, the engine is refined as is the gearbox and the ride is extremely comfortable with little roll or pitch.
Long journeys are accomplished with ease; there is no 'best' cruising speed, wind wise is minimal, tyre noise is minimal and performance is effortless at whatever pace one adopts. Equally, the engine is frugal for a car of this size and weight with mpg averages hovering close to or above 50 mpg on a long run.
The dashboard is thoughtfully designed with all major controls conveniently positioned; the various controls offer an excellent choice and quality is built in to their operation, which is intuitive. The sound system is of good quality also.
Would I change my 220d for a 250d? Possibly, in order to benefit from the extra mid-range urge that this version offers.
