2005 Mercedes-Benz A170 Avantgarde CVT

I love my car and its my first and only car. I had it since April 2013 when I was 18 years old. It had about 35000 miles when I bought it for only 5924 british pounds which seemed like a big bargain to me at the time. It had only one big problem until now and that was the valve body on the gearbox that needed replacement at only about 37282 miles. But I did by it used and it was already 8 years old by the time I bought it and you don't know how the previous owner treated the car. The replacement with the new ECU software installation and the transmission fluid cost me about 1508 british pounds at Mercedes-Bends as I was told by my personal mechanic that they are the only ones who can load the necessary software for it. It gave me a transmission faulty visit workshop error and when my mechanic plugged in his OBD II reader and ran a diagnostics on it, it stated that the RPM sensor was faulty which led to replacement of the whole valve body. Other than that I had three small issues of which two was human error and not the cars fault. The first and the second was that it stopped accelerating with no power at all and said ESP faulty visit workshop and then you have to turn it off and start it again in order to drive again. The problem was that because I drive with hand controls due to a disability the guy that installed it removed one of the springs from the accelerator pedal that prevents you from over accelerating when full throttling cause he thought if he doesn't it would be difficult to pull it (I know its stupid). So when my car mechanic replaced my accelerator pedal which is the second problem and cost me about 188 british pounds including labour due to a electronic fault in the pedal he saw that one of the springs was removed and just put it back when replacing it. The third and final problem was that my car recently said ESP faulty again and tire pressure reading failed or something like that which caused my car to slow down after a few minutes on the highway and I would then not be able to drive faster than 75 mph and also have limited power. I then also had to turn off the car and on again to be able to go faster again and so on and so on. So I thought at first it was the speed limiter but then I saw it was turned off, so then I thought it was the steering angle sensor that's faulty causing it because the car doesn't know where it is turning and going. So it then appeared it was my wheel alignment all along but I first doubted it cause your wheels don't have any sensors to tell the ECU it needs attention if I'm not mistaken. So I just took my car for wheel alignment and it sorted my problem. I was very happy and relieved about it cause the steering angle sensor costs about 323 british pounds without labour. Other than that, that's about all I can tell you about my car and my experience with it. Other than that I'm very happy so far.
