Best offroader of all time, no questions asked

Its noisy, its old, its cramped, uncomfortable and more agricultural than a combine harvester. But its absolutely wonderful. Old school looks from Landie's of the 1950's and a rugged house down interior means this is the coolest car ever, seriously. As for off road ability its unstoppable, it could easily travel round the world and back, without complaint, while the high centre of gravity means you will never get stuck, ever. In terms of driving enjoyment though, the Defender is horrendous. It has an ungainly bouncy, firm ride (its hard to believe that its made by the same manufacturer as the Range Rover) the steering is heavy and a b***** to park in town while the road, tyre and engine noise is unbearable, ruling out motorway cruises. But its one of my favourite cars because of its rugged, old school appeal and those looks. That alone makes it a 4X4 to want, not just need.
