Good car overall

I am pleased with the car overall but agree with the other contributors that 62mpg is more of an aspiration than an achievable reality. I also agree that the upper shelf position in the boot is subject to collapse. I was only carrying three or four carrier bags full of shopping, when it crashed down. I have left the shelf on the lower position since. This means the 'flat floor' set up is only achievable when not carrying anything, of course.

One problem I do have is that occasionally (three times in six months?) the ABS light and an orange car symbol near it, have stayed on after driving off. If I stop and turn the engine off and on again it goes, but am wondering if I should get it checked out.

Once the radio went off for no reason, and the display vanished, but it did come back after a while, with no problems since.

It was difficult to get information on where to put the headlight deflectors when we were taking it abroad. In the end the dealer shone the lights on a wall and worked it out from that. There are no markings on the lenses, and Kia didn't respond to requests for information.
