Overall reliability

Fantastic!

Quite simple the finest car I have ever driven or owned. Beats my previous BMWs and Mercs hands down. It’s quiet, powerful, smooth, comfortable and well appointed. It has been 100% reliable, done over 25k on the fitted Nexen tyres. The only money I have spent apart from fuel and service was for new front brake discs and pads. Recently drove it to Switzerland and back in total comfort without it missing a beat. The only slight drawback is the rather restricted boot but it takes my golf clubs and electric trolley. Compared to the rock hard seats and suspension of the German cars, the Jaguar is like a Rolls.
Having said all that, if you put it into Sports and Track Mode, it really flies and corners almost as well as my Porsche Boxster.
When I bought it, I asked the salesman what the button with the checkered flag (track mode) was for and was told it was for losing my licence!
