Great car with loads of power.

I bought this car as a treat for me in retirement. It was my 1st Jaguar and was a vast improvement from a horrible VW Passat I had before it, from new (8 miles). The power delivery is smooth and fast through the auto gearbox with no turbo lag. It can be driven as a manual with the paddle shifters on the steering column. The interior is exactly what a sports saloon should be with a high centre console that is also storage and arm rest. The interior was modern from 2015 but has been improved vastly in the latest models. It is sure footed and can be driven hard when required taking bends as good as straight roads. Economy is excellent in all modes and I have had 68 mpg on a steady run. The styling is head turning and I still get good complements on the car's looks. I have 12 way electric seats which are extremely comfortable. I believe base seats are not as good. The car has many extras including a heated steering wheel. I suffer with Reynauds syndrome, which in winter makes my fingers go white from lack of circulation. However that has now stopped thanks to the heated steering wheel. There is also remote start and a competent car info system that is connected to a mobile, to view car systems are OK and journey details with the remote start. I also have the panoramic roof but rarely use it. I also have folding rear seats that were an extra.
Now the not so good........ Initially the stop/start would be hit and miss. I eventually changed the battery and it has worked fully every time within the parameters set by JLR. I had an annoying cabin rattle which turned out to be the plastic surround on the panoramic roof. A few hard presses all around and a cople of clicks were heard and the rattle stopped. The boot is a bit small but adequate once it's packed correctly. Rear legspace is limited for adults.
The dealership have been great with free servicing for 2 services and always a loan car when in for service and MOT
