Quick, Reliable and Practical... but...

This isn't a car for everyone:

Many petrol engine drivers these days expect the car to have high torque/pull hard from low revs, like many modern diesels do. This car does not provide you with such feedback. You have to rev it high, like vtec engines in 90s hondas. Personally, that was the reason I purchased the car. If you want to drive fast, you have to floor it, which many drivers are not comfortable with. If you want to save on petrol, you don't- cannot have it both ways, I'm afraid.

The engine is rough and loud when cold. Once it warms up, it settles. It works quieter when ECON is switched off- that's when it heats up faster
.
There is plenty of space inside, the car is very comfortable for a honda, still giving you a little bit of honda's sporty feedback with short gear ratios and high-revving engine. The boot is very big with a low loading lip that is not painted which means you don't have to worry about damaging the paint when loading heavy items.

Non-turbo, vtec engines are known for their reliability.
When you have to pay thousands for expensive mechanical repairs, all the other features seem irrelevant.
Bear that in mind when you make your choice.
