Brilliant drive, funky design and great tech

My first ev from a Glasgow dealer and my first ev drive home with it to the Midlands in snow and 0 degrees. As the dealer said " if you enjoy this first drive then you are going to get on fine with an ev" we loved the drive down! 226 miles on the clock, one fast charge at Gretna ( after standing around for a while looking gormless at our first charging station!) and straight home. Mileage figure turned out to be accurate
Coming from a BMW x3 m sport we were worried about power and speed in comparison as test drives around Glasgow were a little limiting but needn't have.Amazing acceleration
and amazingly comfy ride on motorway and A roads. Less smooth on our back lanes but still softer than the bmw m sport. Auto drive worked as expected as did all the tech except for the camera mirrors which fogged up and which, im told, genesis are working on and will eventually replace with redesigned units.
Charging at home now to 80% and have 208 miles on the clock each morning and have yet to use a public charger. Will wait and see what milage I get in warmer weather.
B&O audio superb in the quiet cabin and have yet to connect android for maps as the inbuilt system with voice command/recognition has not let me down. 30, 000 on the clock when bought but not overly concerned as vehicle warranty of 5 years has transferred to me as has the 8 year/ 100000 drive train and battery warranty.
2 months in and still finding excuses to drive it
