Honest & it works

I replaced my company car a 61 reg BWM 320D Efficient Dynamic version did 70 mpg driven carefully on motorways, 47 mpg around town. Cost just shy of £30 k as delivered offered to me for £15,700 with 12 k on clock at 2years old. It did what it was made to do had some minor niggles with electrical bits. Duster cost what the BMW depreciated in 2 years, 7 months in its never been washed my dog sits on back seats, it has never had any problems, nothing has broken or fell off in spite of my general lack of care. It does between 38 & 47 mpg dependent on use. It doesn't have excellent driving dynamics and poise at high speed , however the BMW had no chance of doing what this little mountain goat can do.

Having fun in this motor and not caring too much is what it's about and for that it's perfect and when this is 2years old it will have depreciated not much more than the BMW cost in tyres and servicing, a refreshing change to badge snobbery.

It is what it is, if as per the ads you want a fancy pants motor don't buy a dacia, the options on my BM cost 25% of the total cost of the dacia! when I have had this 4 or 5 years, I'll give it one of my children and buy a new one. Don't expect a premium quality product when you buy a Duster just an honest one, or you could just spent twice the money for a badge that is probably less capable
