A great car but flawed in certain areas

I've put 6000 miles on the car so far including 2 trips to France (one of 1700 miles) and journeys to Wales and Scotland. The car looks fabulous, sounds amazing and has excellent handling, road holding and brakes (put to the test in France on windy roads in the Massif Central!) On long trips on the French Autoroute fuel consumption is around 22/23 mpg of the finest 98 octane petrol! A taller 6th gear would also make sense too. Inside the seats are very comfortable and supportive. Sadly the euphoria now starts to disappear. The instruments are virtually unreadable particularly in sunshine, the satnav is nothing like as good as those found in Mercedes, BMW or VW cars and overall the "infotainment" system is archaic - no DAB radio, irritating controls and you need a First class degree in Astrophysics to work the various buttons on the dashboard! A lovely car but it is clear that AM need to invest in this model to bring it into line with the competition.
