A blight on the once proud name of Aston Martin
One of the reasons Aston Martin is supposed to have made this apology of a car is due to the need to lower overall CO2 emissions across it's model range.
This is not so.
The CO2 average across the model range only applies to manufacturers making more than 10,000 cars a year. Aston Martin makes less than half this.
They didn't need to make this car and they shouldn't have done. It dilutes the brand massively. What next? the Lamborghini Polo?
Mind you, Ferrari have done much the same by putting their name to a Fiat 500 Abarth adorned in Ferrari decals for about £40k
