2026 Peugeot 308 and e-308 styling, interior and technology

The new Peugeot 308 and e-308 have a sharp and distinctive new front end with an illuminated Peugeot logo for the first time. Available on GT and GT Premium trims, the crisp LED logo is connected to the headlights by luminous strands in the grille.

The new Peugeot 308 and e-308’s ADAS radar is hidden behind the illuminated logo. The lower bumper has been tuned for aero efficiency, and the body-colour elements of the grille blend into the bodywork.

The new Peugeot 308 and e-308’s headlights have a revised design with three slim LED ‘claws’. All models have full LED lights, with GT and GT Premium trims having matrix LED tech.

Of course, the new Peugeot 308 and e-308 have a new range of alloy wheels, with all new Peugeot e-308 coming with 18-inch diamond-cut wheels.

The new Peugeot 308 and e-308 have a new colour choice, Lagoa Blye, while the new Peugeot 308 SW now offers Ingaro Blue. And to give a modern, more sustainable look, the new Peugeot 308 no longer features any chrome trim.

At the rear, all new Peugeot 308 and e-308 have three LED claws either side of the black lacquered band that sits above the Peugeot logo.

Interior improvements for the new Peugeot 308 and e-308 are more modest. All models now feature a digital instrument cluster (with new graphics) along with a 10.0-inch central touchscreen.

Below the touchscreen, the new Peugeot 308 and e-308 have the firm’s ‘i-Toggles’. These are five configurable digital buttons that give quick access to preferred settings such as radio stations, navigation to home and so on.

The new Peugeot 308 and e-308 have eight-colour ambient lighting that extends from the dashboard to the door panels.

The new Peugeot 308 and e-308 are available with an AGR-certified driver’s seat. Standard on GT Premium and optional on GT, the seat is certified by medical and health professionals for its ergonomic qualities and wide range of adjustment.

Which PHEVs are efficient on petrol power alone?

Which PHEV gives decent petrol consumption when running on engine alone ie long journey?
As a general rule, you can tell which PHEVs will provide decent fuel economy when driven on petrol alone by looking at the other non-hybrid models in the range. A large and heavy PHEV such as a Land Rover Defender is likely to be thirsty when driven on petrol alone. We would suggest looking at cars like the Ford Kuga, Mercedes C300e, BMW 330e, Peugeot 308 Hybrid 180 and Audi A3 TFSi e.
