Ford Focus - Help with oil leak - R C Cambs

hello

i have a problem with an oil leak on my 57 plate focus. it p***ing oil every where it looks like around the cam belt area but not to sure as it only just started around 10 tonight

i think i might have over filled it with oil but was a lil while ago when i last filled it (past month) has anyone had this problem or knows what it is ?

You have not detailed the engine but if you have overfilled it a lot then you may have blown an oil seal out like the cam shaft oil seal. With oil in the cam belt area do not drive the car as the belyt could pop off and the pistons and valve will become intimate friends. Regards Peter

Good news it turns out the power steering pump is leaking on to my cam belt so £350 later and hopfuly its fixed lol
