Citroen synergie - automatic gear box problems - CPPB

Automatic gearbox jumps out of gear especielly when car is cold. I have to stop the car, turn off the engine, wait 10 seconds then start again. It does it 3 or 4 times at the start of every journey but settles down after 20 minutes or so.

Any ideas on the problem? or possible solutions

I would think the first thing to do with any chance of success is to change the oil.
