Nissan Primera - Can't get into reverse gear

Nissan Primera - Can't get into reverse gear - Mumof2

I have a nissan Primera 51 plate with about 70k miles on the clock. Had no real problems until today when I could not get the car into reverse. Any idea what the problem could be please and how to get it fixed?

Does it go into reverse with the engine off. I may just be a linkage issue. Regards Peter

It seems to go in but not that last bit. If it is linkage is it fairly simple to sort out? I hope so!
