Focus 2008 - 2.0 vs 1.8 - chewy0013

I have decided that I'm going to get a petrol 08/09 focus in the new year. After speaking with the dealership and having a look on the internet I have decided on either the 1.8 or 2.0 litre engines.

The insurance is more expensive for the 2 litre, they are slightly rarer and a little bit more expensive to buy.

However, they are in the same tax band, the servicing is a similar price and the is no real difference in fuel economy.

What woudl you do?
