I own a 2004 hyundai santa fe, 2.4 petrol. The car has a misfire to it. Always has in my ownership (3 months), Once warm and off auto choke when idling it will occasionally miss, just once every now and again and when driving usually around 1.5 - 2k rpm it will kind of hesitate as though missing. Above that its fine but its very annoying in slow traffic or pulling away etc as you have to constantly drop gears and give it some. I checked all plugs etc and there no obvious differences, both coil packs measure same resistance's so nothing immediatly obvious and it doesnt show any fault codes. I also sat and watched live data while it was idling and doing the misfire but nothing untoward showed up such as rpm signal dropping out to indicate a duff crank / cam sensor etc.
Anyone come across this before?
