Peugot 307 SW - Peugot 307 SW ABS Fault - anotherbob

My son's 307 Estate is showing an ABS fault on the dash. His local service garage says their diagnostic tools are locked out and he will have to take it to a Peugot dealer. Is this likely to be correct or should he try elsewhere before incurring the main dealer labour rates?

The most common fault on abs faults on 307 's are the rear sensor's gap. if you remove

rear wheels and had a look in at rear wheel sensors the gap between bearing and sensor should not exceed 2mm unscrew sensor using a long 5mm allen key reduce gap by fitting a shim behind sensor hth Best Regards Mickeybo
