Jaguar X-Type Faults - aj14
Shortly after receiving my new 2002 X-type 3.0 Sport it became apparent that it was extremely difficult to drive the car smoothly and at low revs and in traffic the vehicle kangaroos. During acceleration there appears to be a misfire at around 3000 rpm.

The vehicle has also suffered from amongst other things air-conditioning failure, several recalls, repeated central locking failure, acrid odour in the cabin, passenger seat airbag faults, corrosion of alloy wheels, and boot release failure.

I would be interested in hearingfrom any other owners who have experienced the same problems with the engine?
