I am surprised this has not come up; I thought at least that Michael's misfortunes would have aroused a lot of unholy glee.
Anyway, that's a cracking circuit. The first three crossed the line yards apart and might have finished in any order - though as it happened it was the order I would have picked.
There was enough action down the field as well. No way was this show boring.
And to console me Michael did put in the fastest lap!

Yes, a good one for a change - almost as good as the Touring Cars which followed.
Try as I might, I can't dislike MS although I was less than brokenhearted to see him start at the back of the grid.
Only thing is, I have lost so much faith in the integrity of the sport, I can't help wondering if it was all another setup job to rejuvenate interest.

Not seen it yet as I spent the afternoon under the car. Good to see JB getting another second place, He surely can't be far away from top spot on the rostrum.
Have I got a nasty suspicious mind, or was Micheal's qualifying spin deliberate? Wondered at the time if he wanted to give himself the challange of coming through from the back of the grid with the championship already safe.
Must get a bit boring, leading from start to finish most races.

If it was a deliberate spin it was probably a ploy to make sure his sponsors get maximum exposure. When MS disapears off into the distnce in the lead of a race the cameras barely cover him.
If he is cutting his way through the field he will be on the screen a whole lot more. His sponsors get a much better return on their money under these circumstances.
Now that the title is in the bag optimising revenue must be the teams top priority.

Has anyone told Ralf this?
