Chrysler Grand Voyager - Lost Sat Nav Disc - jkl

Hi

I have just bought a Chrysler Grand Voyager; its a 2005 model and has factory fit Sat Nav and DVD system.

The person I bought it from has lost the disc for the Sat Nav and the dealer is telling me it is £355!! Can I use a disc from another vehicle e.g. Ebay or the breakers yards??

Yes, you should be able to do that - just make sure that the disc is compatible with your system (you may find the systems changing through the life of the car, as tech moves along), but it's not like a disc is fixed to one particular car

Hi Rob

The dealer is saying the disc has to be later or the same as the original, but Chrysler cannot tell me which disc serial number is later than another!

Why is everything SO difficult?!!

So there is a disc on ebay from a 2005/2006 model car, my car is 2005. The disc is £65, does one take a chance??

Though they don't mention the Grand Voyager, they do have a 'contact us' section, where you can ask if a disc will work on your car or not - looking at their site there appear to be 2 variants, one with 'REJ' on the front, the other with 'RB3' on the front.
