Where can I get insurance for extended overseas travel?

Following retirement, my wife and I intend to stay in Spain for a few months each year, involving stays of up to three months. We'll be driving there and back via France probably three times annually. However my initial enquiry to my current insurer tells me this is not possible, as they insure only up to 30 days per stay, with a maximum of 90 days per annum. Can you help please?

SAGA covers you annually for continental use, no time restrictions.
