I've bought a used Vauxhall Corsa which is wearing tyres unevenly - could it be out of alignment?

I have recently purchased a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 SXI three-door on an 03 plate. I put two new tyres on the front of the car in May and the front passenger tyre has worn illegal already! I haven't done more than 2000 miles in it. Also the back passenger tyre has worn on the inside like a 50p. Would tracking fix this problem? I fear that the woman who had it before me has had a knock and something is bent?

Yes, unless you straddle over 20 speed cushions a day it will be way out of alignment. Try www.alignmycar.co.uk, but if something is bent alignment alone might not solve the problem.
