Can I reject my used car over an oil leak?

I purchased a car from a dealer on the 23 September, which came with a six month parts and labour warranty.

During a routine service at a BMW dealership a major oil leak was discovered coming from rocker cover gasket, turbo manifold gasket and turbo oil pipes. I've been told that the turbo might be damaged due to oil starvation.

The dealer I purchased it from are refusing to repair it under the warranty. What are my options? Can I reject the car?

You can reject the car for a full refund or demand that the supplying dealer fixes it because the fault pre-dated your purchase of the car. Law here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
