Will the new Honda Civic cause a drop in used (Civic) values?

I have been approached by a local Honda deal to sell my 2013 reg Honda Civic 1.4 i-VTEC SE five-door hatchback to increase their stock of used cars. Unsurprisingly at the same time they want to sell me a new Honda civic hatch civic five-door 1.4 i-VTEC SE Plus Navi.

Incentives have been offered but my major concern is how much the resale value of the new car will be impacted by the spring launch of the 2017 Honda civic. Is it possible to come up with a rough estimate in percentage terms as to how much this reduction is likely to be?

Honda Swindon switched over to building the 2017 Civic for export a couple of months ago. So unless the dealer is offering something like £8k off a 2016 Civic in order to clear the fields of old shape Civics it makes no sense for you to do this.
