Fault air con - should the dealer replace it?

My wife purchased a one year old Ford Focus in January 2015. When we first had warm weather in May 2015 we noticed the climate control was not cooling the car so our local Ford dealer regassed the air con.

The climate control has recently stopped cooling again and needs to be regassed. The car is not even 3 years old having covered 22,000 miles and needs it third regas from new. The car was purchased under the Ford Direct scheme and has otherwise been faultless. Should the dealer or Ford replace the air con?

You might have suffered stone damage to the condenser. Or the a/c might be filled with the new R1234YF refrigerant imposed by the EC that is notorious for leaking and cost five times as much as the old R134a gas. Find out which gas by asking Trust Ford which one if refilled the system with.
