Which is the best automatic car?

I need to buy an automatic car. I have about £4000 to spend and don't want to spend a lot on tax. Which is the best automatic car for a girl? I love the Peugeot 207 auto. Would this be a good buy?

The 207 1.6 auto is four-speed torque converter. Good looking, decent to drive but not particularly well-built. You can get a Fiesta 1.4 four-speed torque converter and a Mazda 2 1.5 four-speed torque converter auto. Avoid automated manual MMTs and DSGs.
