Washer reservoir issue with Volkswagen Polo

The washer fluid reservoir in my 2007 Volkswagen Polo is leaking badly. The fluid steadily drips from under the reservoir when it is filled, causing the reservoir to empty very quickly. Is his a known fault?

It's a plastic reservoir, so either the hose clip underneath has failed or the outlet union has cracked. Simple answer: buy another and fit it yourself. You'll have to buy some more coolant and run the engine with the reservoir pressure cap off until the inevitable airlocks feed through.
