Buying a new Golf GTI - should I pay extra for the performance pack?

I've ordered a new Volkswagen Golf GTI, but didn't specify the performance pack as I didn't think it would be of much benefit in day to day driving. However I am now wondering if this option will improve resale value to the extent that I may as well add it. What do you think?

Yes. Worth adding. Forget stupid things like 19-inch alloys. Go for the performance pack instead.
