Buying a used Renault - Scenic or Captur?

I’m interested in buying a used Renault Scenic or Captur. I will cover low annual miles and use the car for mostly short trips. Can you tell me which car and engine will best suit my needs?

In the Captur the best engine is the 120TCe, but if the car will mainly be used for short trips, you'll get away with the 90TCe. In the Scenic, 1.4TCe or, mainly for shorter trips, the 120TCe. It's adequate. I recently tested it in a similar size Qashqai: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/nissan/nissan-qash.../
