Is it safe to buy a new car from a broker like Drivethedeal?

I am looking at buying a new car and the deals offered by www.drivethedeal.com are very attractive compared to franchised dealers where I live. I have always purchased from franchises. I'm tempted to buy from one of the brokers but am wary of spending a large amount of money over the phone or internet on a car I have not seen.

I recommend www.drivethedeal.com from long experience and many grateful reader reports. With www.drivethedeal.com you pay the supplying dealer, not drivethedeal, so your money is in no more danger than paying any dealer directly.
