Which new Honda Jazz model is the best in the range?

My sister wishes to buy a new Honda Jazz. Can you please suggest which is the best in the range, as there are so many models of Jazz? She fancies 1.4 EXL CVT for £17,200.

Depends on whether or not she wants a hybrid, because that has to be top of the list. But further down the range I actually prefer the lower spec I.4iVTEC ES CVT-7 to the higher specs. It comes on more sensible 15-inch wheels and tyres, and because it does not have a panoramic glass sunroof and blind, it has more headroom. It's also easier to fit a (non-standard) spare wheel into. If she does not need the space and practicality of a Jazz, she should also consider the cheaper Toyota Yaris hybrid.

I would appreciate your advice on a leftover from last century. Are there any new cars still around with 'constant velocity' transmissions, please? If not, when was the last such survivor?
I have decided on the Honda Insight. As part of the deal, I have been offered an 'on the road pack’ that includes Asset Protector, which ensures I get back the full value of the car in the event of a 'write-off',...

Fairly big boot by class standards, tempting hybrid option, Toyota has an epic reliability record.
