Can I appeal a Cat B decision?

Can I appeal against a Category B decision, which my insurer has issued on my Daihatsu Fourtrak after it was stolen and then recovered. The car is fine, but has a broken side window and damaged ignition barrel. Can you help? The insurer has said my car will be crushed, but I want to save it if I can

A Cat B has to be crushed. But from what you describe your car should be a Cat D, not a Cat B so maybe some clerk at the insurers was hard of hearing when the assessor made his report.
