Auris Hybrid or Golf Bluemotion?

I am looking for a replacement for my Toyota Auris Hybrid T-Spirit. Can you tell me if I should replace it with another Auris or buy the new Volkswagen Golf Bluemotion 1.6TDI?

Go for the new Auris, it'll give you the same mpg. Volkswagen 1.6 TDIs can give you trouble if used for repeated short runs from cold.
