Need a 4x4 that's suitable for work and family use - any suggestions?

I currently have a Land Rover Discovery 3 and use it for my job as a handyman, transporting plasterboard (2m wide) lengths of wood/pipe, tools and other equipment. When not working I use the Discovery as a family vehicle.

Sadly the aging Land Rover is on the way out and I need a replacement. We also live in the countryside and so need something that can tackle steep, rough, tracks as well as snow and cold conditions (again steep). What do you recommend?

Used, a UK model Isuzu Rodeo or a post 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. New, a UK model Isuzu D-Max or a KIA Sorento.
