Is the dealer responsible for this Dacia problem?

I have had a few problem with my new Dacia - the most serious being the complete tow bar becoming loose when towing and causing damage to the rear bumper. The wrong nuts (not nylock) were fitted at the factory. The car has to go to the dealer for repair.

Should the dealer pick my car up and should they provide a courtesy car? The trip to the dealer is 150 miles round trip, three gallons of diesel, and a day off work. I live 7 miles from the nearest town and there is no public transport.

Yes, the dealer is responsible both for the lack of satisfactory quality and your consequential losses. See last case report here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
