What is Renault's new dual clutch transmission like?

What is your opinion of the Renault six-speed dual clutch (EDC) transmission that I understand is currently an option on various models and, next year, will be standard fitment on the new 1.2 TCe Mk4 Clio?

It's another dual clutch pre-selector auto. It seems to work better than VAG's DSG and seems to be as good as Ford's Powershift. It hasn't really been available long enough for problems to develop, although one snag is the need for a £200 change of fluid and microfilter every three years.
