What's your opinion of the Honda Jazz's CVT gearbox?

I'm in the market to change my Citroen C4 1.6 HDI EGS. I have had a test drive in the Jazz 1.4 ES CVT, and am quite impressed, although it doesn't have the performance of the Citroen. But I think I could live with it as I'm well past the "ton up kid" age. I would be interested in your opinion of this car, particularly with regards to the gearbox. Also, what transmits the drive from the engine - is it a clutch or a torque converter?

From 2008 to January 2011 the Jazz had an i-Shift, the same as your EGS. Traditional Jazz customers didn't like it so Honda reverted to the CVT-7 from February 2011. It's not quick, but I prefer it. Honda CVTs have an electromagnetic clutch. Nissans have a torque converter clutch.
