I recently forwarded you a quote to get my three 17-year-old triplets driving. I got a quotation of £1300 for a 2010 Toyota Auris with my daughter as the policyholder and my two sons, plus my wife and I, as named drivers. This seemed very reasonable. But now the catch. This was only for the period while they were provisional drivers. One has now passed and the others have their tests in the next three weeks. The quotation from Quinn has now risen to £6000+ for all three to be on the same policy with the same car, because they have become qualified drivers. How do they expect us to pay this and get them driving a shared car? What are the alternatives?
