Will the Hyundai i30 make a good driving school car and will any DPF problems be covered by a warranty?

I recently asked for advice on the best car for a driving instructor, and one of the recommendations was a Hyundai i10. I dismissed this as having no student appeal. However, I recently had a Hyundai i30 diesel as a loan car and the students loved it. It is also a very good teaching vehicle, great to drive, and extremely economical on fuel. I notice that Motorpoint have quite a few examples on 2011 plates with about 12,000 miles for about £10,000, and I am considering buying one. Would the five year warranty cover things like the DPF and are there any other snags I need to look out for?

The Bill Plant driving school is exclusively Hyundai i20/i30. The Hyundai warranty will not always cover failures if the car has not been correctly maintained. High maintenance costs help to pay for the warranty. An abused DPF would not be covered. But Hyundai/KIA were late in fitting DPFs. You might find that an EU4 2010 car does not have one.
