Should I accept SEAT's Ensurance offer?

We own a SEAT Altea. SEAT has emailed to offer 3 years free 'Ensurance', to work alongside our car insurance. Is this SEAT's way of working round the Claims Management companies, and do you have a view whether which should take up the offer, please?

It simply means claims will go through a claims management outfit appointed by SEAT. As long as you don't accept any offer of a 'credit hire' car, this could mean that your car is repaired by a SEAT approved bodyshop to a standard at which the car could be retailed, which may be a lot higher standard than an ordinary insurance repair. The trouble is, as soon as you refuse the credit hire car, out of which the claims management outfit makes its money, they tend to lose interest.
